The problem with religion is that it kills the imagination. It insists on conformity not creativity. The Gospel restores the humanity that God originally intended for us all; a humanity that reflects the image of God in us. Religion destroys that image by insisting that we should all be the same. We must fight for our imagination. We must fight for our creativity. We must fight for our humanity.
